Apparently, if you TR with a weapon in hand and the scion of arborea legendary feat, the +2 enhancement bonus buff persists on the weapon (like unyielding deathblock used to on armor, not sure if it still does).

So, I have a celestia with a perma enhancement bonus +2, ruining the DR breaking property. Any known way to remedy this? Maybe a stone of change ritual?

I’d try taking the Scion of Arborea feat again and equip/unequip the weapon.

Are there any other such effects that don't break another aspect of the weapon? I wouldn't mind having a nice, +2 item after my next TR.

Much like unyielding, if you have it and it is equipped it will only have one of the effect. Once the bugged item has been equipped with the source of the bugged effect on simultaneously, the effect will then be able to be lost upon unequip. For an easy weapon example, look at arcane archer.

Indeed, I confirmed that selecting Arborea again makes buff removable as expected.

hmmm would it add to, or overwrite, a perma'd Arborea...ie can you get both on an item through a TR.

What if you never unequip it? Take scion of arborea to double stack it with the prior version, then ETR?
