I've said before that I'm on the Players Council this year.  There are direct communication channels.  And, no a single transaction isn't a deal breaker.  But every transaction that is reported represents another 20 that happened where the person didn't say anything.  The overwhelming majority of disgruntled people who cease to use a provider or withhold sales do so quietly.  They just leave with no feedback.  That's not news.  It is taught in every business college in the country and it is in hundreds of business books.

And they can certainly count.  If the numbers are off by more than 10%, they will see it quickly.  And feel it quickly.

And the ex customer exit poll is one of the holy grails of marketing info, right? Making the "no goodbye threads" policy so characteristically Turbine?

Turdbin, keep changing the DDO rules, because McDonalds sold over 200 billion hamburgers by changing the recipe for their Special Sauce every couple of months to keep interest up.

There is a difference between an exit survey and airing your dirty laundry in public.  I'm sure they have no problem with a pm exit announcement.

I'd not let an exiting customer post a negative exit comment on my Company Facebook page.  I don't know many companies that would.  But I would very much appreciate an email or a phone conversation with said client.

Yeah, I was a little surprised when I turned off the VIP renewal that there wasn't even an attempt to find out why I was cancelling.  It was as easy as flipping a setting in the profile.

But only a little surprised.  Because as I said, I'm sure they could care less about my $120.

You're right, they could, but due to the intricacies of Turbine accounting and management, it would cost them $120.

Caring more just gets laughed off the budget.

Damn not sure if it was just me or not,  but damn,  whatever they did made it even worse.  Didn't think even Turbine had that kind of skill.

Wtf did they do?

I logged in yesterday and it was so painful even just trying to move things from inv to bank that I just quit to desktop in disgust.  When it takes 4 tries to move an item there's no chance that running a dungeon is going to be worthwhile.

The real burn on this will be if you cop a ban for trying to exploit, when all you were trying to do was move shit.
Sometimes it happens 30 secs later, sometime it doesn't.
So you try multiple times, and you get inventory errors.
I'm just waiting for a GM to drop in and investigate.
On the bright side, maybe he can get my shit moved in a timely manner.
