Don't follow main forum, so looking for informed responses, DIAFs and KYSFs: do devs/anyone even acknowledge there's still multiple problems with RanGen loot or are they done with it?

I think they're too busy with the lag. The only other game related thing they've tried talking about is the fighter enhancements.

They're in the "Looking at the issue" and "Figuring out the problem" stage of fucking it up further.

I think they are done with it, except for the Cannith Crafting bit.

Which they are already just as effectively done with as well.

I don't even understand the question.

Yes, random loot is horrendous.

Does Turbine care?  Nope.  One of the DEVs posted something (Steelstar?) about what exactly didn't we like.

He was under the impression that having REPAIR AMPLIFICATION on light/medium/heavy/cloth armor was genius and have HEALING AMPLIFICATION on docents was an end game winner.

Random loot is here to stay as it is until the next loot pass in a couple of years, when all the old loot gets monty-hauled into uselessness.

Thanks for the responses, all.

Yes those were basically my questions; do they understand that random loot is still fucked in many ways? Do they intend to fix it?

Sorry if I wasn't clear, I was probably smashed.

The problem is that multiple instances of "Looking into the issue" and "Figuring out the problem" create a stacking bug which causes lag.

It may not make sense from a min/max power gaming solo EE persepective but there is a PD fleshy arty somewhere out there that creamed their loincloth when reconstruction of repair amp scalemail dropped for them in WW.

Heal Amp on a robot...not ideal but could leech more hp from fleshy Consecrates, Auras and Cure Masses IF someone has nothing else that is best in slot.

I've got one!

Well, sort of. I didn't buy WF on my mule account, so one of my bank bots from a few years ago is a drow artificer with Construct Essence. I haven't bothered to find repair amp armor, but I could get some use from it. If they are going to make crappy flavor build feats like construct essence, they might as well make crappy flavor build loot like repair amp armor to go with it, right  Undecided

I am actually legitimately sad that I didn't take the time to find a really good ghostbane weapon during the great ghostbaneing. Like I didn't even bother to look at them.

Because, silly me, I went and assumed a cannith crafting update was in the works, and if I was just patient I'd get to craft the ghostbane weapon of my dreams!

What I naive fool I was.

I'll never understand the propensity of people to brag about being good at a video game. Its a toy you play with for fun. The only person who should be proud of you is your mother. If you're 3.
