With more testing ( VON and MOD ) we came to the conclusion that whatever they did Thrusday on G-Land did a good job at killing the lag.

It's not perfect ( the completion lag is still there for example ), but it seems they managed to kill the renown lag and they have greatly reduced the spikes that appeared here and there. So maybe somebody at Turbine finally got a clue about what is happening...

Careful what you say.
One hint of partial success and it will be tools down and off to PacMan larp, never to address lag again.

That's why I didn't say anything officially... Here it doesn't matter It's The Vault, and we are just doing as we see fit.
They still have work to do, and I'm convinced some of the work will involved dealing with things they didn't want to deal with, like the clusterfuck called DAT files.

I did a lot of TR XP's yesterday.  No lag to be found in 16-19 quests and adventure areas on Khyber, even with 6.

Ran another LH shroud around 7pm.  Still lag there.  Not as bad as before.  But still work to be done.  I hear DoJ is playable, but I've not experienced it.  I'd be concerned about lag in DoJ.  In part because it was always the laggiest raid of all and in part because the mechanics of the raid don't permit for 30 second - 1 minute freezes.

They need to keep working on raids.  It still needs work.  I've not run a raid with 12.  I'm sure that'll cause problems.

Ran some more TR stuff last night.  Amrath.  IQ.  No issues with 6 in any quests, although, weird lag lock in the harbor for about 30 seconds to a minute for everyone right around 10pm eastern.  Hit everyone in the party.  Everyone was in a public area.

We shortmanned a Proof in the poison and had some lethal lag during the pipe hopping. It may be better, but it most definitely isn't good enough, not even for heroics.

Turdbin, keep changing the DDO rules, because McDonalds sold over 200 billion hamburgers by changing the recipe for their Special Sauce every couple of months to keep interest up.

The lag was pretty rough at times last night during a Deathwrym, Fire Peaks, and LShroud run.  This weekend had some bad stretches of lag, too on various missions and raids.

This last hotfix may have mitigated some of the worst lag, but it is still a long way from being back to what it was before the datacenter move.

For me, it's gone from "Unplayable" to "Far from enjoyable" in raids.

There you go then, job done by Turdbine standards.

"Bloody whinging customers are never happy - next they'll be demanding it is almost enjoyable!"  (DDO Team meeting prior to heading to Pacman LARP)

Ran LoD series on EE on Khyber yesterday.  Got some spotty lag, even though the party only had 3 people.  Just 1 second stutters periodically.  Nothing to go ape shit over, but it's still not as smooth as it used to be.

Hey, the player's council says lag is fine, so who are we to disagree?

I'm on the PC and I've been saying that the lag is not acceptable and still needs work.  I've said that here and on the forums and in the PC forums.  I don't think the majority of PC members agree with your statement about lag being fixed.  Maybe some of the ones who are solo/duo only players who don't raid.

so what's the word with the massive increase in load screen fuckups then? Anything or is it not even a thing (more likely)? Lag may be slowly getting fixed but they are breaking more and more shit in fixing it, for sure.
