It adds one stack per star, so 4 stacks in one click is common, then it reapplies the DoT damage for each star. So at 20 stacks, it adds 20d6 per star to your attack (80d6=280 on average) in addition to the +W.

Still not something to spam 24/7, but it is good for the long red/purple fights.

10 monk vs 5 ranger nets me +5 Doubleshot during 10k stars, +10 max ki, +1 to all saves, and +3 AC. All Ranger has is +2 FE damage, +2 skill points, and plus a few SP.

It should be noted that the skill points will be extremely tight on this build even going human with a +4 int tome and dumping con for int, as you'll want Concentration, Diplomacy, Hide, Heal, Spot, Spellcraft, and UMD as high as possible. If you play the skill point game right, you can almost max out all seven of them.

6 ranger would net you Camo, and sniper shot. Fast movement speed is real nice though....

Why not drop harbringer of chaos for arcane warrior?
If im right then inferno shot should be able to give stacks for it, its like 20 ranged power for raids n such, should be better then harbringer imo (unless it doesnt work anymore)

Ah, I thought this was a once per second dot so 20d6 a second rather than a star making it not so great.

HPs are going to be low for LE. 29% dodge + 25% displacement + 25% perma incorp + functional AC + WASD is enough vs physical attacks. Saves aren't bad, but regular evasion still fails at least 5% of the time. Disintegrate and Horrid Wilting are going to be what really hurts, so having HP and MRR lives done is for the best.

Well, are you right? Can anyone confirm? I haven't noticed Inferno Shot count as a spell for anything else. Harbinger is pretty sweet, but +20 RP and +20 SP would totally be worth it.
