Nothing to do with mail, it has to do with AI pathing issues.  Cordovan said today on his stream that they believe it is some type of memory leak that gets worse over time, and a server restart should temporarily help until they can find and fix it.  He never stated when they would do it, but after the topic coming up in the stream and the forum lately, they are pulling the trigger tomorrow.  So no update, no patch, just server restarts.  Which is proven by the fact that it's a two hour window and not four.
