Another problem we don't have here, not really.  There were unmarked cars, but the new ones have reflective/light up graphics and "stealthy" lights, and are pretty easy to spot.  The police are generally the only group that can afford to run a Ford Expedition, too, so like, play the odds when you see one.

Yeah, been a long time for me, too, and I only drove WASTED wasted once.  I know it's a kind of gambler's fallacy to think I'm "due" to get caught, but it's really not worth the risk.  There are a bunch of harsh new laws that apply to DUI now, over 0.05% BAC gets you charged automatically (used to be 0.08%, like a normal society) and the cops can give you a 72-hour suspension for anything above 0% at their discretion.  Aside from the future costs for insurance/lawyer/prison canteen, it's like a $10k fine, a 7-day impound on your car, and possible prison time.  As you say, just not worth it.  Cab, transit, hotel or whatever.  Hell, there are Designated Driver services here that will drive you home in your own car for just a few bucks more than a cab.

Sure was a great feeling though, driving around after the club and the afterparty, still slightly buzzed on E or whatever, blasting tunes and exploring the countryside.  Ah well, those times are past.  I'm too old for people to chalk it up to being a dumb kid any more, now if I crashed or got caught, I'd just be some asshole trying to live like he's 15 years younger than he is.

Content laws here force broadcasters to have a certain (large) percentage of what they play be Canadian.  So you can imagine just how much they play the shiiiiit out of anything even remotely popular.  Ruined Alanis for me, for the most part.  Except Uninvited.  I can still listen to that one.

At the 34:00 mark, Severlin starts to talk about the next races that will come out with the expansion.

At the 34:10 mark, Sev all but says that Aasimar and Tieflings will be the next races added.

At the 34:25 mark, Sev concedes that his two preferred choices for new races, Githyanki and Githzerai were not well received (probably by the PC) and that people didn't really care about them so they weren't going to be the new races.

Around the 35:30 mark, Sev is also talking about Kobolds as a possible player race.

Between the two options, both are far enough outside of 'mainstream' PnP to be about equal.  I've played a lot of PnP across the years and the updates, and in no campaign I've played in were any of those playable races.  I probably have more familiarity with the *yanki/zeri, but only as opponents.  Asimar and Tieflings are just yawned off as poor options to Human, which has always held the best in show slot for best race due to the free feat and bonus skill points.
