They think Memoirs is dynamic. I don't know how anyone in the entire video game industry still thinks players read text boxes, but there it is.

I guess I could try running it a second time to see if anything was different, but really, what is the point of making a shitty quest different on the second run, few people will even make a second run.

Maybe I'm getting my new shitty quests mixed up, but that was one of the "you're trapped with a suddenly appearing mob with a barrier until you kill them, over and over again" quests, right? They bothered to make that dynamic? Wow.

Turdbin, keep changing the DDO rules, because McDonalds sold over 200 billion hamburgers by changing the recipe for their Special Sauce every couple of months to keep interest up.

Lol.  They've done somewhat dynamic content before (although more randomized content than dynamic, per se).  Memoirs is nowhere near that.

The "dynamic" component is that one mob's name is slightly different, depending on the dialogue option you choose. I guess I prefer it to the "dynamic" component in Good Intentions....

I did get a pineapple once that was very difficult to cut.

Not as difficult as, say, a mop handle, though.

Didn't break my knife on it, either.

Oh, come on now!  You can completely customize the name of the boss mob.  Every other thing is exactly the same, however.  Yeah, it's (paraphrased) "just like the choose your own adventure booklets."  Except it's not.

No Psionics and new races nonsense. We only want more content, don't need more classes and races. Also, the more we stick with oly the basics of 3.5 pnp, the better. And by basics I mean only the  races/classes from the basic book.

The psy raids would be a total failure: either tons of annoying dispell/mordenkainens fucking up the gear (hey DEVs, can't you stop doing annoying shit?) or FoM will make them useless. Or everyone is going to be an undead or a paladin or a wis based thrower

Why can't we get more stories like this?

Instead of:

"I was drinking a 50 year old bottle of <insert randomly googled liquor brand>playing <insert random game you can bet on> with <insert random name drop of celeb>, won <insert random large sum of money>, and then I <sex act> with <insert random model's name or description of hot chick> at <insert exotic locale>.  <insert random insult, preferably involving racial or homophobic slur>!!!"

Example:

"I was drinking a 50 year old bottle of Hennessy Richard playing dominoes with The Rock, won a million dollars, and then we tag teamed Kate Upton on the beach as the sun rose.  Fuck you, cocksuckers!!!"

Sound familiar?  It's like mad libs for pathological liars.

I'm glad you have a good sense of humor. I appreciate the laugh. I fixed it for you specifically because fixing it was pointless.
