How could a ride be free if it was already paid for? Wouldnt that entail a refund? that isnt really ironic. It's just free then. maybe im just having a hard time thinking of how a ride could be free if it was already paid for. examples?

If you were like hey I'll give this guy $20 in gas to get me to Newark but then just after you finish filling up the tank your homie rolls in and is all like Hay brah going to Newark wanna jam? and you're all like damn homes just paid this dude to take me lol

They would be separate rides, is what I'm sayin.

Alanis is required reading in Canadian High School, I got a B in that course.  I would have got an A but I correctly understood the use of irony and therefore didn't truly appreciate the song for what it is.

Is it Ironic that she wrote a song called "Isn't it Ironic" and didn't include any actual examples of Irony?

Why can't we get more stories like this?

Instead of:

"I was drinking a 50 year old bottle of <insert randomly googled liquor brand>playing <insert random game you can bet on> with <insert random name drop of celeb>, won <insert random large sum of money>, and then I <sex act> with <insert random model's name or description of hot chick> at <insert exotic locale>.  <insert random insult, preferably involving racial or homophobic slur>!!!"

Example:

"I was drinking a 50 year old bottle of Hennessy Richard playing dominoes with The Rock, won a million dollars, and then we tag teamed Kate Upton on the beach as the sun rose.  Fuck you, cocksuckers!!!"

Sound familiar?  It's like mad libs for pathological liars.

Dynamic content!

Free Ride to Jersey < 10,000 Spoons.

when all you need is a knife?

I remember needing a quarter in jail once really bad. The phone was 50 cents and I only had 25. Me and 2 friends are in central booking. I needed to call home and tell mom dont wait up and i'm at gf's house for night. We got caught riding around in my boy's car smoking. We were young and retarded, 18-19 tops. We also were tripping on some bomb ass x we had.

So, I'm in one of the last cells that night where everyone will sleep until the judge sees them in the AM. My friends are in the cell directly across. It's Friday. Now, knowing my boy "D" is kind of learning impaired. I decided to give him instructions on how to slide a coin under the bars as to avoid him just throwing it and it clanking across the bars and the floor, out of reach.

D being special and on X threw that shit anyway... After I explained to him to slide it across the floor like he's playing air hockey. I'm thinking he knows how to air hockey, right? Because we play that shit a bunch. The CO had just passed through a few moments before and had warned everybody that if he heard any noise, then that person is going back to the first processing cell. That's a death sentence because that means you might not get out Saturday and will have to see Sunday morning.

This dude straight chucks that quarter, it clangs off one bar to another and then rolls around out into the middle of the floor between our cells. I start cracking jokes because everyone is just laughing now at how stupid we just were. The noise alerted the CO. He sees me crouching by the bars, sees the quarter and everyone still laughing. I get shipped back to the 1st processing cell. Saturday goes by and my name never gets called out of the processing cell. I know something is up now. I ask one of the ladies there to check my file because I have been here since Friday night. She comes back few minutes later and tells me there is no file. The CO threw it out lol. I had to get processed again and finally moved to the main cells to see a judge Sunday morning.

All because I needed a quarter.

Moar pls

dont really have any more bookings stories. We actually ended up there again in 2 weeks. For the same exact reason, but not tripping this time. Because we're smart. Clearly. Both times it was in my friend's area. Malba, Queens isn't exactly high population and traffic. Driving around there and smoking is just asking for it because you're the only car on those streets that isn't parked at night.

My boy was a bit of a celebrity in bookings and one of the public defenders passing through the hall sees him and apparently was on a first name basis with him. A CO gave him a few cigs. His parents are rich and he just does w/e the fuk he wants. They own multiple house there and a huge factory in Queens. They bought him a M3 convertible for his HS grad. Which he crashed and we were in his GF's Jetta both times we got caught, his parents wouldnt let him take the other cars.

He ended up crashing that Jetta few weeks after that too lol. Him and the quarter tosser really liked tripping and smoking while driving aimlessly for hours. They were rolling when he crashed the Jetta. And they swore it was "black ice". In late March on a hot night  Grin. The car had a few more hits stashed and at the impound they found it was still there. First thing they do is pop them and go cruising again.

We had some fun times in that Jetta though. Another time after our little escapades, we decided that buying an ounce of shrooms and tripping would be fun. I was too paranoid after we got caught twice. Fully tripping balls I tell them to stop because I see a suspicious car thinking it was the police again and we're in the same area ;p. He pulls over on a corner and I get out yelling suspicious car, suspicious car! We were so out of minds they thought I left, I thought they drove off. In reality they never left and I couldnt find them because drugs, despite us being in the same spots. Literally on the same corner facing away from each other.

I did all kinds of the same dumbass shit, but I never got caught.  Where I grew up doesn't have the cop-population density problem you seem to suffer from.  I can hide a buzz like no one else, though.  Made it through a RIDE Program (Drunk driving checkpoint) whilst on the tail end of a decent LSD trip.  "Thank you for not driving drunk, here is a goodie bag!" said the cop, and then I had to pull into a parking lot, because omg shiny stickerz.

I did all kinds of the same dumbass shit, but I never got caught.  Where I grew up doesn't have the cop-population density problem you seem to suffer from.

I grew up in the USA county with the highest cop-per-person density in the nation.  I learned to bullshit like an artist.  The only cops that actually busted me were the ones with a chip on their shoulder who lied in court.  I never got busted for anything I actually did...

HOW IN THE HELL DID THAT WORK, ANYWAY?

OMG, shinies!

I've had multiple RoSS rot just from doing the explorer points in Sands across multiple lives since it is exclusive.

Smart players know how to use buyback.

I will not chone.

I did what I did intentionally and while my primary purpose was not to annoy the other Vaulties, I acknowledge that it was a side effect.

Smart people don't elicit "side effects."  They understand in advance the consequences of their actions.

if they add the Psions, Kalashtars are a must have, not some fucking obscure monster as Playable race.

Githyanki and Githzerai are not obscure. You can find them in NWN 2, in AD&D ...

IF we weren't so dumb, we would have simply walked around the block and finished smoking. It's driving around in places where there are mini-mansions and no commercial places/traffic. The undercover cops can spot people easily since it's in the open. At the very least we could have got onto the highway. Driving around in Manhattan is much easier because of the population and traffic covering you. Sometimes the misfortune of the undercover cops pulling up to you at a red light is about the only way to get caught. Unmarked cars, fake taxis, fake commercial vans, etc.

I havent pulled a drunken drive since 2008~. I can drive through toll booths at 4am fresh out the club, smelling like weed and Patron. Done if a few times. Never my car though. My friends usually get wasted drinking with me and then I have to drive them home in their own car. I prefer cabs, but some of them live in Queens, Brooklyn, or the Bronx and they wont cab back and forth while paying for overnight parking. They would rather let me drive them home. As if I wasnt drinking more than them.

I stopped that bullshit after my boy crashed on the highway after leaving from the club with me. He flipped over the car on the highway and crawled out and tried to walk away. Luckily for him one of our friends happened to be on the same highway going the same way. He sees the car and him, pulls up and gets him out of there. No one was hurt. He hit a plastic sand barrel, hit the divider and then rolled the car over twice. Normally I would have either been with him, or driving him, but that night he wanted to get to his girl's house. After that I said to myself enough of being stupid. They either cab it back or they dont drink so much. Fuck taking dumb risks for nothing.

I don't think naming names would be a good thing for me to do, but I'd pretty much add anyone who's a know-it-all dick on the list. Even if they are sometimes intelligent with their opinions, the way they state them in long, "i'm a lawyer at trial"-type posts makes me want to punch them in the face. They act like whiney babies with god complexes and then freak out if someone so much as breathes criticism in their direction.
