I am salaried and do not get additional compensation for working hours beyond what is required to perform my job functions.
Ah, I see. Salary is its own interesting compromise. Kind of a hedge, hoping you won't wind up working for this guy:

everything other than including "work" has an opportunity cost.
A hobby comes at the expense of getting a second job, or sleep, and the job comes at the expense of recreation time, etc. Opportunity cost is more or less how an economist faces the fact that you can't be in two different places at once, and your time is limited.
Seemed an appropriate question at the time. But no one should really think about it too often. That would drive anyone nuts.

In the normal course of playing DDO I easily earn enough TP from favor, monster manuals, etc. to get BTA trinkets from the store without putting any special effort into it so why not?
That makes sense. I flower-sniff, and spend what feels like more than half my playing time standing at the bank looking for some goddamn thing or another, then forgetting what I wanted it for. If that behavior earned TP, I guess I'd be a fucking TP tycoon.
