Our goal is to release two updates before the end of the year. One of the updates will be larger, the other smaller, and combined they'll bring several things that players have long asked for to DDO. Since we are currently working on two updates, it isn't clear yet what will be in each update. We'll release things when they are ready, so if something isn't ready in time for next month, we'll see if we can finalize it for the following update in December.
Proves that Sev is dead
Proves that I woke up in Bizarro World
1) Typographical error in what should be professional and vetted communications with the customers. Proves Sev is very much alive.
2) Promise which Turbine won't even make an attempt to keep. Proves Bizzaro world is the one where we pay Turbine for anything.
2a) Alternatively, it is quite possible that in Sev's tiny, little mind "
We'll release things when they are ready," means "Monks (feel free to replace with any of the many other patch jobs they have failed to deliver across the years) will never be released, because they will never be ready." That is a valid interpretation of his words, after all, and he has a history of calling out that people misinterpreted him when he promised something. Because always hedging with vague wording and then making it the customer's fault for not asking for clarification (or just ignoring the multiple requests for clarification) is how he rolls.
