I got a lvl 15 tier 2 rock bootz, 15% crit and 90 acid power. The new one is 14% crit and 96 spell power. Pretty much the same to me.

Insightful collectables are "tier 6" or whatever and drop in level 26 and higher quests, EE LoD is 23. With that said I haven't actually ran it since they added the new collectables, staying at cap instead and playing their new "endgame" - the end-less-slavers-grind.

	I assume EE LOD can drop insightful shard collectibles? They drop stone fetish which is used in some insightful so yes. I think I used the stones for insightful dodge.

	Skill & skill upgrade tomes for peds will be back for U33, according to the lamannia release notes for the next preview. Shown during Cordovan's stream today. But they modified tomes for new characters, gotten from motu, to be different. So those won't work for peds anymore.
