I'd really love to see them put more useful things or make the cosmetics way cheaper. I'd totally drop 1,000 rems on that, but 10,000? There's no better way to announce to the world "I don't know how to spend my rems properly!"

Well, blowing 10k rems on that thing beats buying mrr tomes for your lesser played toons lol.
The heck you gonna spend those on anyway ?
You get melee, ranged or spellpower, prr tomes for your "mains", cloak or two then the things just rot in your bank.

Either way, cosmetic loses its appeal the second everybody else gets it.

is 22,500  Per character.

Say 2 characters - That's 45k.

Two cloaks - 16k.

Total bill:  61k.

Throw in an eternal flask for each - 81k.

I'd rather have all of that than a cosmetic.  No matter how bad ass it looks.

I've pulled around 34k remnants in the last 12-14 months.  (Granted, I don't go out of my way to farm them.)  So, I'd say that, yeah, in another year or two, I might be interested in handing over 10k on some cosmetics.

So they take existing items, change the color and that costs 10k remnants.
