They are definitely well-populated, just with TERRIBLE XP- quests.

FTFY.

I haven't run level 17-20 quests on Heroic TR in literally years.

Because I fucking hate them all.

Sure, some of the Old Guard who used to run HoX, ToD, VoD and Reaver's Refuge back when Dragontouched Armour was a "thing" might know the quests well enough to zerg EtK or Monastery, but I for one avoid those fucking quests like the plague.

I don't set foot in IQ unless one of my toons needs to farm a Pale Lavender Ioun stone. The rest of that gear is hopelessly outdated (which is sad, remember when Terror was awesome?).

In fact, I skip them entirely and hit Heroic cap on Elite streak once I take 18. If I go there at all, it's to run the stress-free S/R/E areas for the missing 12k I need to hit Lvl 20.

The rXP up to then is faster and easier to get earlier in the game so I just TR and start over.

I will agree that placing these quests at Lvl 14 is odd... I never finish all of Orchard or GH before I have to move on to the next level, never mind the Devil's Gambit chain.

Reaper mode has forced a serious recalculation in how quests, gear, and XP are allocated.

Remember the old exploits to get the dragontouched armor you wanted and skip the randomization? Those were good days. I miss me those days.

While it still isn't great regular xp, IQ is filled with fast quests that are extremely friendly to dc casters. Most of IQ is excellent rxp/min if you (or someone in your group) has dcs.

It's the best pack(s) in heroic levels for rxp by a significant margin, so if that's something you care about you might want to consider adding it to your heroic quest list.

There are three heroic quest lists
1) regular xp focused
2) reaper xp focused
3) optimal mix of both

Granted, there is probably a 85 percent overall between them, and the optimal reaper quests would vary on the build.

Curious if anyone ever put list 2. I’m curious what the current updated lists are.

I'm pretty stoked for WPM, that was a great P&P module. Should be an easy homerun for them if they nail the new sentient voices.

List 2 existed, but got quickly squashed for 3 when racial TR came out shortly after.

Anyone have a good list for 3? I’ve seen Fret’s list, but it’s based on a 50 percent constant pot

Frets list has optional quests to do at each level.  For example, at 3, they usually stop after part 1, 2, or 3 of catacombs depending on when they reach hard cap.   Usually it is one.  But sometimes they need part 2 or 3.

The same thing happens at level 5.  (I think depth chain is the decision point, I could be wrong.  It has been a while).

I know, but differences between 50 and 10 xp pot is more then one quest usually. Plus optional quests are by default not as good xp as the primary ones

Personally, I would do repeat runs of key content to fill in any gaps.

Bloody Crypt at Level 5-6
Spies in the House at Level 7-8
Shadow Crypt at Level 9-11
Wiz King at Level 12-14
Litany at 15-17

It will add a little extra time to your life, and runs that won't earn RXP, but at the end of the day it won't be substantial.   You can also slip in some quick Vale Slayers for a fast 80k or so at level 16+ if need be.  I always use that to round out any lives.

For the past bunch of lives I've been doing option #3. I get around 140k rxp per heroic life and usually supplement it with some level 30 quests when I'm 20 before I TR.

I'm on track to get wings* at around the the same time that I finish my racial lives, which I'm still working on because I had been taking a break from DDO until this past September.

*Although I don't consider wings to be particularly important. Reaper points, like PRR, are very useful/important up to a point and then begin to provide diminishing returns. For a caster, it's difficult to make a case for more than 62 points being particularly useful (41 in the caster tree, 21 for 100 hp). That having been said, do we get every single past life because every single past life is important or do we do it because that's the "endgame" that's been provided?

Because that's the endgame we're provided.

After (x)completionist, the returns are sharply diminishing, like almost everything else in DDO.

And you can argue completionist isn't that big a deal either, since it costs a feat in your build out and doesn't count towards pre-requisiste qualification.

Here was one from 4 months after reaper dropped. I am not sure how Ravenloft fits in, I know Tethyamar is dogshit. Some good comments on the thread.

Hard for me to believe people actually follow some kind of "list".
Also you get like 30 - 35k rxp per hour from dailies at cap so I don't really bother with higher skulls in heroics. 2 or 3 skulls tops.

How are you getting 35k rxp per hour? Are you running 3 r10 quests with full first time bonuses within one hour? Also, that requires to be at cal, which is counterproductive to racial tring.

Um... hes not.. doing high reaper quests takes like 10 to 15mins. So idk what quests you can do everyday that give 10k or more each time you run it..

Maybe an exploit?

Well amber r10 is 3-5 minutes and about 5k ish (cant count first time bonus on a daily). so he only needs 6 other quests in the other 55 minutes. hard to believe sounds more of a pull out your ass number.
