combat is less skillful than ddo, but still fast paced and action based ( less freedom overall than ddo, but every game will fail to match ddo in that regard ).

there are huge populations ( 2 million monthly players ), megaservers for na + eu, and great artwork. every thing is scaled to max level so that everyone can run with anyone. there are teleports to dungeons, teleport to party, none of that grouping fail, level gating, and getting to quest bullshit that ddo suffers from. there are more people in random zones doing public quests than the entirety of orien at peak hours. and that is just one zone lol....  actual mmo btw.

i have also played blade and soul for a bit. good combat, anime art theme, korean p2w f2p for the whales.

going to try ff14 and black dessert eventually.

Old ass times, like Durhur, Threesome, SAGE, Dirty Monkey, Warswords raids - I didn't see any Spellsword.
Ghallanda Rerolled was a big name in the past, then Ash kinda opened it to public, it's dead now.
Ravensguard had some Citws and Fots in the past.
And there are Koreans and Phillipinos in the mix - always cool to play with.

Who raids today ? Omni - with lot of new faces, not really the same since lot of old timers like Eth and Sestra gone.
Captain Crew always managed to do alright in raidage and always cool to run with. It kinda depends on one or two "active leaders" with good game knowledge.
Band of Brotherz on the weekend.
Helter Skelter has okay hodgepodge crew.
Nope, never Spellsword there.
