An older issue, that may have long term impact

So I checked https://haveibeenpwned.com/ site to see if my email(s) were targets of any hacking (not sure if this site is trustworthy/ok, but seems pretty much so), and noticed that my email most likely have been compromised (if nothing else) in 2k13, thanks to turdbin:
"Dungeons & Dragons Online: In April 2013, the interactive video game Dungeons & Dragons Online suffered a data breach that exposed almost 1.6M players' accounts. The data was being actively traded on underground forums and included email addresses, birth dates and password hashes.

Compromised data: Dates of birth, Email addresses, IP addresses, Passwords, Usernames, Website activity"

The only thing that does not make this seem legit is the fact that it says 1.6 million ddo accounts (seriously even with multiboxers, no fucking way it is 1.6 million, right?)... Grin Grin Grin But seems ok otherwise.

Thoughts? Also, did turdbin actually address this issue in 2k13? I remember a phishing in-game mailing period around that time, but not sure if it is the same. Also: I did not get such a mail, nor responded to any such shit, so I cannot believe that this breach is referring to the "big phishing".

The most broken epic PL in the game is the ridiculous AC buff from martial PLs. But when you include all the inherent benefits from reincarnation, the thing is above the roof. The benefit from TR was supposed to be minimal, but now it is game breaking. start a new character and you will feel, you will get raped in heroics.

Personally I think lower heroics on new characters are harder than Legendary Elite content on a character with good gear and has all destinies farmed.

And someone in another thread called ME delusional recently!

Wow.

Have you EVER gone to Law School Feyn? Have you EVER been asked by a United States Senator who is now the Vice President of the United States to write a paper just for him on a particular topic of Constitutional Law for his use as a Senator? Have you ever been asked to help a very notable Harvard PhD turned Constitutional scholar with his very-well received book on Legal Philosophy and Constitutional Revolutions? Have you ever been offered a job as a Deputy Attorney General BEFORE you even graduated Law School?

No? Then STFU you fucking amateur.

Pretty sure that the fact that a service can be hacked doesn't make it the "community chest".

Might be a concern if I could remember either of the email accounts I used to sign up with.  Think one of the few and best ideas turbine ever had was the username log in option instead of it being strictly email based.

Turbine policy - glitches and poor coding resulting in interference of your game play or enjoyment will be ignored.  Glitches or poor coding on the developers side that at all benefit your game play or enjoyment will result in your character being banned and/or items from your inventory deleted.  Please report all bugs via our bug report...when it works.

I could be wrong, but this sounds familiar.  I think it came up here and on the main boards back around 2015 or 2016.

The Chinese government already hacked me back in like 2014. That’s why every Chinese New Year I find out that my name has changed again.

Yes, it happened. That is why I use alternate throw-away email accounts for certain activities with a password manager generated random password.

They don't know my real birthdate either.

Yes, they had a lot of farming accounts that required unique e-mail addresses. Hundreds of scripted accounts per farmer per night adds up over 8 years (about when they finally started dealing with the farmers).

nothing new, known for years, that's why I use an old 'free' email address from the Modem connection Internet era to register everywhere.

Wouldn't the "password hashes" just be for your DDO account? I can't see any reason why turdbin would have the hash for your email account's log-in.

I'll never understand the propensity of people to brag about being good at a video game. Its a toy you play with for fun. The only person who should be proud of you is your mother. If you're 3.

unless you use the same password everywhere the hash is going to be different.
and it's even going to depend on the kind of hash used, between SHA 1 and SHA 256 or other the hash for the same password is goin t obe different...
And it doesn't take into account the seed of the hash that can also vary ( byt can be easily cracked )
