Cordo, i was reading the other forums and someone posted about why arent the old packs free yet, people went on rants about how that would make new players stay.

I do understand ( or a t least i think i do) that the company has to bring money and giving stuff free usualy isnt good. But i was thinking... Why dont you guys give some old packs for free BUT make a p2p pack or packs that has craftable stuff and uses the droops from the free old pack as a ingredient.

It may not be technically or economically viable, but if it is just think: make a new dragon themed pack that gives armors and such but requires dragontouched armors/runes to make the new one.

That may have issues since most duppers should have runes to trow but if you introduce a new rune/jem ( like the vuthjeesing gems to flag for stealer of souls) so it cannot be dupable and make/forces old players to rerun content.

I dont know mate, maybe making free sharn syndicate, 3bc (altough that one is should still net you guys some cash) and sentinels of stormreach, and linking to a new p2p pack, stuff like that.

The game is great but the population is segregating itself more and more and id really hope that ddo can still kick axe for at least six more years.
