Arcane Casting Failure (Read 2066 times)

	Am I correct in assuming that the only way to reduce the chance of arcane casting failure is with the augment in the shield, or will crafting Arcane Spell Dexterity on the shield help?.

	the augment can be slotted in any blue slot, it'll work. crafting ASF (iirc only gloves slot possible) would help as well. to see your spell failure chance, don't look at the item description. instead, hover over any spell with somatic component, that should show your failure chance

	on a slightly related note.... skill augments are an enhancement bonus, but a Spell Craft augment gives a competence bonus. Skills crafted onto equipment is an equipment bonus. So, will a 'Spell Craft' white Augment stack with a Cloaks crafted 'Spell Sight'?�

I really REALLY hate how the "percentage" of spell failure seems to arrive in bunches, and how you can piss away 50 sp trying to cast a spell when you just happen to need it.

Lesser Arcane Spell Dex can be crafted as a Prefix on Armor, Gloves, Trinket, and Runearm. Twilight can only be crafted on Armor, and only as a Prefix As I only have 5% failure, I'll go with an augment and call it a day. There are too many, MUCH harder things to come by that I'll be crafting on.

	Seems reaper lowers my UMD 1 per skull. Didn't remember seeing that documented though. Really hacks me off when I have 95% marked and still fail on 3 roll.
