Seems expansion next year will have a Sharn bent to it with Tieflings as a player race, and iconic version.

Anyone play it in pnp? Am curious how good the setting is.

Apparently they are actually looking at Isle of Dread (Dinosaurs) for 2019. Sev said they also expanded the art team. He also said that they felt "supported by the players to continue with larger content updates." That's like the first team expansion in how many years?

Tentative Update Schedule
This fall:
1. Mabar quest, mabar area rework, dragon re-opened as 6-man. Rewards reworked.
2. A raid that's part of the Dragonborn pack.
3. Some unrelated surprise that will be coming this fall or in the future related to tech. (Let's hope its server shards, or some form of de-leveling so you can get xp with people at lower levels.) Sev was saying this may be delayed. (This reminds me of the "quest hub" that they scratched.) In another post on Lamma Sev hinted we would be able to upgrade Blackrazor---which accounts for why it was such shit on release. I wonder if this was related to the raid.

Next spring:
1. Some pack
2. Some faggy Cordovan secret that he will be hinting at on live streams.

Sharn is a neat setting. It has its own book. It is the city of Eberron. Stormreach is just some upstart backwater. Most published Eberron modules begin there.

Tiefling iconic is going to be awkward. +2 dex, +2 int, -2 cha lends itself best to either rogue or wizard. But we already have those as iconics. The only f2p classes left to iconic are bard, barbarian, and sorcerer. None of those are very "iconic'. I guess they could do a variant that drops the cha penalty for sorcerer, a la bladeforged. Sorcerer feels like it should be reserved to be the iconic for Dragonborn though. (And barbarian should probably be reserved for Dwarf, because battleragerz.)

The best fit for an iconic Tiefling, IMO would be a fiend-pact Warlock. But then there's the problem of not having a precedent for an iconic version of a p2p class.
