Also both RL scepters are good for casting.
Skull Ring from Amber Temple is amazing for necro.
Both caster set bonuses would help. (Mists and/or Beacon)

A docent is the only way to get Beacon of Magic set while wearing armor, so be a Warforged.

I'm actually looking for a Bladeforged Cleric build... that War Domain looks REALLY nice, was thinking healing but War seems much more useful. Anyone have a kick-ass build? Planning on using a lesser to cure the Paly level

I compromised more DPS than I wanted to for survivability with the reasoning that you need to be hanging tough in melee range and can't afford to die if you are the healer. So the melee is more of a CC/debuff/support role...and it really has a lot going on there, but the DPS with helpless scaling will still be great.
