	You almost had me Strake, but Turbine/SSG doesn't know how to admit they are wrong, much less express "Our most sincere apologies". Now if you had said "Due to some things that are not our falut", or "Thanks to our heroic efforts and dedication the down time is going to be 3 days less than it could have been. You can all thank us by pre-paying $129.99 for the Sharn expansion now." Those I would have believed.

	They have been down for days before...migrated to a DS that was crap and had to move back. The new hamsters are stuck in customs...3 months downtime. Strake, the only way that would be believable is if they blamed exploiters for the downtime.

	What I find odd is that DDO.com AND the game worlds are down. You'd think the website would be cloud-hosted specifically so that a local outage(like a fire in the data center) doesn't bring down at least the website. So long as you've got DDO.com up you can use your forums to com... unic... oh, right.

August 15 to November 15th ( more or less ) downtime occured for all the European players when they closed the CodeMasters Servers and sent the character data to Turbine. Strangely, the following year when LoTRO EU servers closed there was no significative downtime, just a regular maintenance for the European Players ( and no maintenance for the other players ).
