... is the farther we get away from the downtime, the less they are likely to give a shit.... no mass exodus of players quitting or cancelling their accounts, no-one kicking in their doors to tar and feather the hapless staff.... give it a week and folks will forget all bout it...

*sigh*

Kinda wanted a raiders box too Smiley

What I would like.. is for shit to stop being BTC.. THAT would be awesome sauce

Hold your pants. it was a 3 day downtime, nothing to sweat about.
If i get another fucking raiders box or not won't make a difference, except sentient xp.
250 points, an afternoon of play.
ViP extension - yowsa - I get the time back I lost during a stupor. Hooray.

We're still going to get the box, its just taking long enough that no one really cares anymore. Annoying that it took so damn long, but meh.

I'm with you on the BtC thing. Lynnabel keeps saying they want to improve the inventory syste; people on the Motherboards keep telling her just changing everything to BtA would be a huge interim fix. No word yet.

They aren’t going to change everything to bta.  They have said no to that idea for raid loot and raid crafted loot more than once.

I think that anything not raid loot or raid crafted makes sense though.   Personally, I liked BtCoE.   Even over BtAoA.  Which enabled the shard economy.

Even if all they did was change all non-raid loot to BtA it would be a HUGE boon.

I think my raid loot only accounts for one or two bank tabs... its all the other crap that's pointlessly BtC.

I agree with you.   There is a lot of BtC stuff that doesn't need to be.

They seem to be retroing the cosmetics to BtA.   Hopefully they keep that going.  The pets would be another good one.   I have a panther, a lioness, an owlbear, and two scarecrows.   Ugh.  Why can those not be BtA.   Then some of the crafting stuff that is stupid to have be BtC, like the older dragontouched runes and the shroud pie pieces and eveningstar comms.  All of that stuff can be BtA for sure.   It all comes out of non-raid content.    THat's just off the top of my head.

Planar shards too. (Ones collected in the sub). Necro 4 sigil pieces. (Less important since the flagging change, but still a pain)

Agree completely that all of that stuff should be BTA.

Also (I could be remembering wrong).......things like planar shards and DT runes do NOT go into a bag, right? They should change that as well. (At least th eold ones I have laying around don't go in any bag).

Pretty sure any player that's been at it for over a year finds zero value in the proposed gifts other than the few measly ddo points.

Doubt that'll ever happen, for obvious reasons.  It'd be nice though.

/Agree - its not like you can get any benefit from having two owlbears on the same character, and being able to move them would provide an easy solution for that "Whoops, I accidentally threw away my owlbear whistle" problem. Just role a new character, transfer whistle, delete char. Solved.

The crafting stuff isn't as important I would say, at least from an inventory-cluttering standpoint. It all goes in bags that only take up 1 slot. I'd like to see someone who legitimately accumulated 10,000 unused shroud pie pieces and expects to use all of them Tongue

Depends on the type of player. Not everyone is focused entirely on end-game high-skull content. The CitW weapons are pretty great if you can pull them out of the cache at-levels. The ranged weapons especially are very viable - and plenty of people don't have them. Anyone on the TR-treadmill will appreciate the bone.

They were dupable at one time, nonetheless.

They actually never fixed that.  They just dumped diamonds entirely without changing the split code.

I can neither confirm nor deny...

But yes.   Grin

(The real beauty being diamonds themselves were... well, never mind.)
