	More like: Ironically, SSG's general customer service model and levels would give Comcast a run for it's money, too. Safe to say that SSG is the Comcast of MMOs.

	Used to be you were auto-granted that shit on log-in. If we pretended they are different companies, then it only took SSG about a year to figure out what every business (except Turbine) already knew: Make customers retrieve their shit with a code, and half of them don't. It's not like they're losing bucks from this giveaway, but I bet they're sharing a few quick high-fives in accounting.

	They sneaked in more changes than just 'some patch to activate raider box'.... 404 Iterations that make changes to maps on both Eberron and Faerun ( read : changes regarding the terrain ) plus a launcher update a client update and an awesomium update....

Sometimes they put in next the next update's code early but don't have it "active" yet. Remember when they redid the interior of the tower of the 12, but you could teleport to the new one before it officially went live?

In my market the major competitors for internet are Spectrum, AT&T, Dish/Centurylink and all provide unlimited usage for a flat monthly fee from 29.99 per month to 99.99 per month for consumer ISP services, depending on bandwidth. It has been that way for at least 15 years.

Some ISP tried it in the early DSL era ( with a hard cap in download ), but they removed it pretty fast when they discovered that they were loosing customers faster than the DSL bandwidth ( at that time ) allowed. Then we had Free that just blew up everything with the triple play box, almost everyting unlimited, unlimited download speed [ up to the DSL line ability ], unlimited local calls, International calls were paid, and upload speed is limited... They have done the same thing with the Fiber: 1Gb down, 250Mb up... [ when the fucking thing can do 1Gb Up And Down at the same time ] and the rest hasn't changed.
