So tempting...

If someone has a sock to burn go for it just for the laughs.

That said, I highly doubt the guy is telling the truth. I think he's making shit up to get attention.

I'll never understand the propensity of people to brag about being good at a video game. Its a toy you play with for fun. The only person who should be proud of you is your mother. If you're 3.

He doesn't want someone to buy the expansion for him, he just wants SSG to completely change its business practices, loose tens of thousands of dollars, and radically alter their plans so he can pay for the expansion with points.

Sounds reasonable.

Nobody would make a fund page. That's clearly just to get him to show that he's full of shit.

Would this be the equivalent to a person with suicidal tendencies (BTW good band) making a cry for help when you know the bucket gonna get kicked anyways??

LMAO: HungarianRhapsody said: Have you considered illegally supplementing your income by selling the pills from opioid painkiller prescriptions that you're not using? I hear there's good money in that.

The guy is all over the map. Seems like if he were really worried about not living to september, he'd find a way to cough up the $40 or talk someone into buying it for him. I find it tough to believe anyone who's playing the game heavily doesn't have an in-game buddy who could spare that for him. I used to buy expansions and points for my friend all the time; and he wasn't terminally ill or anything.

I have no idea what this guy's angle is.

BUSTED!

Qwerty-Keyboard said: Sharn could come out in June for all I care I just want to give you my money now before something happens and it's gone, retirees on a fixed income would also prefer this so we could prepare for a large purchase when funding is always tight. You will release sales soon and some people will wait months to buy it, now had you given us a window hey in 3 months we will be doing pre orders on sharn package prices will be 149.99/84.99/49.99 yadda yadda prices subject to change, at least we have more of an idea and more time to prepare (save some funds). Poor people and children who buy content themselves play this game too I can afford free to play with the option to spend money now and again however I cannot afford brand new consoles and 75 dollar video games with a 0 to1 day warning.
Coming soon is about as useful as sandpaper for toilet paper.

When the update comes out and if you could not afford sharn dont even bother to log in everyone will be running sharn to ad-nauseam and you will be soloing ravenloft.

Again giving us prices in advance does not hurt you at all just put subject to change at least it gives us a idea.

I have funds just know people who struggle on fixed incomes and kids who struggle managing funding for a mmo, school, rent, and a vehicle.

Season pass is a good one to compare this to not a good warning asking 300 bucks while only people with stable bank accounts got that not one person under the poverty level even got a chance to scrape funds together to buy this, left a bad taste in my mouth as I would have loved to purchase it. Its not fair that my check came in 2 days after sale closed but life isn't fair but still give us something for pricing in advance

That’s what they should’ve named the new enhancement tree.

Almost like he should set up a contest and get Jerbear to kick in a lifetime sub as the prize.

That sounds like a fake account just trying to provoke a response, must be bored with the game itself.

I'm definitely in the "this is just bad trolling" camp now.

I do like the cordo closeout:
"I am not toiling endlessly, but I am toiling through the Reported Post mines, which recently suffered a cave-in due to this thread. "
