Is my DDO launcher busted or is it just down?

Can't load past the screen directly following logging in with my user/PW. Usually, have to relog a number of times anyway to hit the ''sweet spot'' an get a less laggy play but, this doesn't seem to be the case.

Posts on the MOBO about some people not being able to play. I've been on Cannith no problem, but seems like lots of people are having issues.

I think they were trying to update Lamm and somehow broke things. I haven't been able to get on since early yesterday.

Yeah I've been unable to login for about the last 19 hours, I check back once in awhile but have pretty much given up.

I can log in just fine.

I even updated to the new Lamannia client and logged into that with no issues.

The launcher/login server has been good and properly SSG'd.

Of course they changed something ""minor"" so now the launcher is randomly broken as fuck with no apparent rhyme or reason why and only affects random people while SSG offers up nothing but vague, mostly BS responses.

At this point, SSG'd deserves to be an entry in the Urban Dictionary.

If you want to try fixing this without deleting and reinstalling the entire game, these steps worked for me.

1) Make backup copies of any of the following files before you edit or delete them.
2) Edit the "C:\Users\<yourusername>\Documents\Dungeons and Dragons Online\UserPreferences.ini"
         Delete all the entries under the [DownloadFileTimes] section except for the vcredistxxxxx lines
          Save the changes
3) In whatever folder DDO is installed in, find the client_local_English.dat (assumes you run DDO in English)
          If you run DDO in French or German, delete the respective client_local_FR.dat or client_local_DE.dat.
4) Start the launcher and let it download fresh copies of the files from the UserPreferences.ini and the client_local_*.dat file
5) Make a sock account on the mobos and leave a post telling Cordovan and SSG that they failed at life.

If that doesn't fix it, repeat those steps but then also delete all other *.dat files in the DDO program folder except for the unins000.dat file. and run the launcher again.
