What model is that? Legendary Greensteel or Sireth but with replacement effects?

Named loot: that's Gunga's Pointy Cudgel. It drops out of Your Mom.

If it was bigger it might stay in.

Instead of (or in addition to) Cleaves, get Improved Feint, if you want some early aoe.

Put feat swaps at 1 improved feint 3 Precision 6 Completionist at level 20 for reduced threat in epics, dropping toughness, since ultimate completionist will have tons of hp.

Took Epic Sneak Attack, dropping epic toughness since ultimate completionist will have tons of hp.

Corrected armor to right set.

Epic Destiny: Hopefully Fury of the Wild is good for this in Update 43?
Twists: I don't know?

Gear: I don't know. I was thinking Staff of Shadows because it is x3 and indestructible, but Cripey said Moonbeam is better.

Sense weakness and the new sentient set based around knockdown would probably be solid for this build.

I don't think you're automatically helpless if knocked down.

Do not try the patience of wizards, for they are subtle and quick to anger.

We are dreamers, shapers, singers, and makers. We study the mysteries of laser and circuit, crystal and scanner, holographic demons and invocation of equations. These are the tools we employ, and we know many things.

The absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.

Iirc the Adrenalin knockdown does make your helpless though.

On top of the knock downs from TA.

I have never used the capstone, but if it was helpless people wouldn't say TA sucked or always be multi-classing with monk.

Which means it is only a trip.  Smiley

It's not going to be as powerful as making a tempest, but I'm hoping it works out alright. Should have a lot of adrenaline uses. Been waiting 10 years for a staff to not crumble and a build to go with it.

Some do, some don't.

Updated gear. Dropped vertigo for tendon slice since staff trip doesn't use it. Swapped int from goggles to charisma for UMD and bluff. Added Augments. Updated twists. Updated mini bloodbath to Scion of Ethereal for permanent blur and invis gaurd.

The woo-woo is kinda cool. Alt on mini bloodbath has few past lives (3xdoublestrike), but build finally fits together at 29. Updated keylock ring and spyglass swap items for trapping.

Mini Bloodbath
Gear
Helm - (No Refunds) - Legendary Umber Brim (Quell, Ins. Acc, Ins. Dec, Profane Stats +2)
Goggles - (Blown Deadline) - Legendary Collective Sight (Cha, Ins. Con, Qual Resists)
Necklace - (House of Pain) Legendary Family Recruit Sigil (TS, ArmorPen, Deadly, Relentless Fury)
Trinket - (Baba Raid) Bloodrage Chrism (HAMP, Profane DS, Profane Sheltering)
Armor - (Security Detail) Legendary Wildcard (Fort, PRR, HAMP)
Cloak - (Into the Mists) Legendary Mantle of Fury (Con, DS, Dodge)
Wrist - (Blown Deadline) - Legendary Hallowed Castigators (Dev, Healing lore, Ins. Sheltering)
Belt - (Raven's Bane) Legendary Silverthread Belt (Stacking Devotion)
Ring - (Any Sharn quest) Radiant Ring of Taer Valaestas (Wisom, Qual Deadly, Qual ACC)
Gloves - (Blown Deadline) Legendary Hammerfist (Ins. DS, Cannith, Seeker, Ins. Deadly)
Boots - Slave Lords (Sheltering 45, Resists, Tendon Slice, Quality Con)
Ring - (Same Old Song) Legendary Celestial Ruby Ring (Stun, Acc, Ghostly, Dex +21)

Weapon - (Killing Time Raid) Staff of Shadows (+15 Enhancement Bonus, Adamantine, 20x3)(Ruby of Endless Nightx3)

Filigree: 65 melee power

Trapping gear:
(Crystal Cove) Spyglass socketed Festive Int (Insightful Trapping Skills)
(Death House) Keylock Ring, socketed Int (Enhancement Trapping Skills)

Id recommend using the Acolyte's Lenses(Intelligence +19, Insightful Intelligence +9, Insightful Wizardry +206, Spellcraft +22) as a Swap for Trapping instead of Slotted int on the Keylock. Nets you 20 more int (as i dont see any in the gear at all) which is +10 search and disable.
