I voted for bard.  Yeah, they aren't the op gangstas that inquisitor builds and sorcs are, but for playing with groups and doing heroic content, their spellsinger tree is fun.  A lot of party love there, including the hp/sp regen, and their sonic casting is decent for heroic leveling.

Some retarded mix of kensai + vanguard. havent had the time to make one in a year or so. IT totaly sucks but is one of my favorite class and playstile combo.

I'd have to go with Bard most likely. Loved me some Warchanter back in the day and while I wish Warchanter would get a proper facelift and pass, Swashbuckler makes a decent stop over until another 2-3 years pass. Either way; I love being able to buff the group via the songs, especially HP song (I refuse to go t5 SS unless i'm going full sonic nuke tard, and Destinies still don't support this decision), as well as providing my own source of decent DPS. But a lot of that comes from gear, pastlives, etc. not bards themselves.

Second favorite would be Warlock even if they didn't add Hideous Blow and Eldritch Glaive to make proper melee warlocks and instead we got Enlightened Spirit's nonsense.

Druid is a strong third. But druids more of the power fantasy of being a sort of avatar of nature more than actual fun playing the class anymore. If rage/DPS bears had actually been a thing and not an after thought of the druid pass I'd have probably put this in second or first for the fun factor.

I don't know.  It is interesting to see that the current meta is pretty much what people are enjoying.   Is that the chicken or the egg?

Wizard and Rogue have always been popular archtypes in RPGs.  There's utterly no surprise that they are high on the list.  As for this list mirroring meta, I thought dog druids were supposed to be meta.  Why are they so far down?

It's interesting to see fighters and paladins so far down on the list.  I think that speaks more to how uninteresting and how unnecessary tanking in the game really is.  If tanking were a more engaging gameplay (DAoC and LOTRO have some pretty engaging tanking mechanics like followup attacks after a block/parry and attack chains that increase threat), then I'd think you'd see those classes rise on the list.

Rogue has been up and down over the years.   For a long time (pre-mechanic pass 4 years ago) it was pretty niche.  Trapping was marginal because traps weren't deadly.   And the DPS was pretty mediocre.  Then the G-Xbow mechanic got a huge boost.  Then the dagger/assassinate melee got a huge boost.  And the Legendary Feats helped.   And KTA alternative stat damage showed up.  And the additional sneak support in universals helped.  And the meta shifted towards sneak attack damage being a heavy value proposition.  And shadow dancer revamp is solid.  Now it is very strong in pure melee DPS, trash killing DPS and ranged DPS.  It combines well with Inquis and Vistani.

Most wolves are not really druids in the traditional sense.  They are multi-class fighter(or ranger)/druid/whatever meless that have some self buffs and self heals.   They have more in common with a ranger or a pally than a cleric/FvS/ or wizard.   When I think of druid as a class, I think more of the caster druid.  Which is fun, but not one of my favorites.
