I've always believed EE was easier as well, but friends who stick to the "R1 is easier" stand state that the extra hitpoints just give an extra buffer that make them feel safer.  You can get a pretty substantial hitpoint boost from 21 points in Grim Barricade, so that might qualify for "a minimal number of reaper points".

Myself, when i do quests R/E/H/N, Elite just feels easier.

I think that people who group more than solo also feel like R1 is easier because they normally aren't stuck healing themselves after fights and 20% slower kills doesn't matter much when the group is killing stuff in a couple seconds anyway.

Having made a first life toon recently. EE is definitely easier than R1.

Only dumb fucks with shitty builds and hungreds of reaper points say r1 is easier. The only reason of it - they have shitty dc, saves and/or hp so just cant survive encounters and traps on EE/E. R1 is slower, r1 filled by plague reapers which are tougher than quest bosses nowdays, r1 contain stronger champs, dps debuff, mob saves against spells and self healing penality. I dont see what to discuss about there, its common info.

You might be retarded. Although I believe R1 is easier than EE, I know and have played with Rzy. While playing with him, he was always getting to cap and reincarnating, and rolling with him through level made it a cake walk. He was in guild with some of the best, including Sym, so maybe figure out who the fuck you are talking to before you start running your mouth, because I'm pretty sure you don't hold a candle to Rzy.

All of maybe two months ago.  I'm noticing a lot of little buffs to both monsters and traps all the way around since the big update (when I basically took a short - possibly about to become an extended - break).

As far as my build goes - I can (could at least) solo everything on R1 at or under level: up to and including all the Stormhorns quests at level 26-27 (well before getting the good end game gear) and (more recently) the RL chain.

EE is what I run for multiple TRs for speed when I want to blast through for saga rewards and don't care about picking up a whole extra 25-50 reaper XP per quest.  Which is why it was shocking to me to get killed by a group of shadows in Wheloon.  Usually about the only thing in that chain that can actually touch this build is the boss fight at the end of Hunt.

nowdays you get full rxp if run quest at bb. Same for epics. So can run wheloon\storm horns with anyone lvl 20-30 on any skull and take full rxp. Last several lifes ran it on r4-7. I totally dont need it (in farm terms legendary r5-10 still way better), but it made some sense to raise skulls while leveling + can help other people to get just some rxp.

And in case it isn't obvious, I couldn't care less about Reaper difficulty.
