Tried monk in HC - died 2 times in Reaper modes - back to my main Wizard, so far been a breeze, so yeah melee not worth it.

At level 10 on a Fallen Aasimar Pali. 

Findings it incredibly strong and fun.  Blazing through heroics solo at speed (meaning no shrines) on R3 to R4 depending on content.  R5 possible with hireling at pretty good clip.

12 should be a big boost as well, perhaps bigger than most characters.
