Probably similar to the reason concave-chested athsmatics play bulky broad-shouldered half-orcs.  Because they want to.

I play almost nothing but male characters but I can see why some people would rather spend all day looking a digital girl's butt than spend all day looking a digital guy's ass.

Plus most of the outfits look way better on female toons than they do on their male counterparts.

I have both male and female characters in DDO. I'm not sure what if anything it says about me as a person, but I certainly don't give any fucks what anyone else thinks.

I'd say the problem is the opposite. What is up with heterosexual males looking at a guy's butt all day? But I get it, "heterossexual".

why not have both pretty hair and be a big strong guy?

aasimar scourge and shadar kai have some nice hair
personally i always wear that freakish skull mask on my main pc so the hair is a non factor for me

Quote:
I am Firegoddess.

A few weeks ago, while I was playing an alt (on the same account as Firegoddess), my main Toon (Firegoddess) was deleted and then 2 hours later, recreated (in name only) as a 1st lifer.

I was playing my alt all day (approx. 7 hours straight).

I have sent in 17 tickets within the 1st few days with NO response from SSG's CS. I then contacted a law firm in LA county USA to send in a "Letter of Intent" to start Arbitration with SSG. Hours after this, my character was returned to me (complete), except for my TR cashe. After a couple more e-mails, my TR cashe was "in-game "mailed to me. This was great except for now I do not have any room on this character to pick up anything in quests (something I can live with if they can not help me with this issue). I will need to TR Firegoddess again (TR number 408 on her!)

So, after all this, I would like to let everyone know, that if you can be patient (which I am not, unfortunately), all issues can be resolved.

As for what happened or why it happened, no one knows. ( I will state that I do not dupe or Cheat and would never do anything that might get my account banned as I have spent far too long playing and investing time and money into this game to risk this). I also did not delete my main toon by accident as some have asked in this thread ( I have TR'd Fire over 400 times and I have 2 other completionists, so not an error I would make).

I do miss my online friends and hope to have this solved in the next couple weeks. Looking forward to getting back into the game.

https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/515409-Firegoddess-says-he-won-t-be-ba...

So, after all this was a big drama show. As excepted. And the guy still says "hope to have this solved". Really wonder what he means.

I'd imagine I'm in the 200s-300s range myself. But I don't bother with alts like some folks. Though the past year or two I've slowed down as business has picked up a lot more for me.

Doesn't the benefit of TRs run out after 3xNumClasses?

Oh, I guess I've heard you guys mention heroic TRs and maybe something else like legendary or epic TRs.

I left this game because they were going too far into the grind... that was right around the time they introduced the completionist feat or status or whatever it is. I, uh, guess that my departure didn't change their minds, heh. They didn't merely double down on the derp, they cubed it.

Whaaaaaa?

Let's see if I've got this straight. I think I saw you say that you can do a full TR in about 90 minutes. From what I've gathered, that means using a combination of XP boost pots and ottos boxes, then running some quests to get the last few levels or something like that... about right?

So, people are spending real money and ~90+ minutes of game time (plus associated overhead like dealing with TR cache) just to reset ransack? If so, well, I guess I can't argue with Turbine/SSG's plan, because it appears to have worked... Shocked

I guess it might make sense (excluding the real money part) if people don't run alts anymore. Did TR basically kill alts?

Alts died a painfully protracted death from TR, ETR, Racial PL feats, and, finally, Reaper.

IME, anyway.

Well, plenty of people still aren't done with racial reincarnations. So, for most people, they can get SOME past life benefit from TRing still.

Otherwise, if you're just grinding reaper, it would make a big difference in grind to reset those.
