Temporary Raid Closure: The Lord of Blades
Fri, 05 Jun 2020 04:21:32 +0000
The Lord of Blades raid has been temporarily closed due to a bug that made the Legendary work in progress version available on the live worlds. We will reopen the raid in the near future.

So if the "work in progress" can become available on the live servers, does that not mean that they are doing development on the same hardware that is running the live servers?

This just screams SHITSHOW!

Change my mind

Remember when they were redoing The Tower of the 12, and you could teleport into the new version before it was officially released?

nothing new... I remember being able to see The revamped 12 long before it came live.

Basically they put quests, raids, new areas long before they become available in a patch/update.
The patch/update is just there to make sure they have something that somhow works and that we won't break in 5 minutes.

There's lots of dead stuff ( read : that can't be accessed unless you know how to break the bounds, where those things are located and how to break back in ) in the game. Stuff like the Old Ataraxia Challenges, the original Kobold Island ( not the challenges ), the old Lower Harbor, some Epic Seal, Scroll, Shard quests that never happened and much more.

This is true.

In fact, they added some interesting stuff with the last patch.

I watched their R4 completion video and it appeared the only unfinished thing about it was there was no chest/loot at the end.

Do not try the patience of wizards, for they are subtle and quick to anger.

We are dreamers, shapers, singers, and makers. We study the mysteries of laser and circuit, crystal and scanner, holographic demons and invocation of equations. These are the tools we employ, and we know many things.

The absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.

The only different thing seem to be the curved surface with the lower tide of the magic goo, possibly to prevent anyone who falls in from getting out.

Can't say I'm surprised after "legendary shroud will be completely different from the heroic one" thing.

I want to give SSG the benefit of the doubt since they raid is incomplete but lava divers have proved to be quite formidable raiders since they still managed to complete a buffed up version of the classic LoB.

Truth.

It felt like the old Lob at high difficulty setting. LD had a few takeaways and we’ll be pushing when SSG is ready for us. Upside, lag was tame af. If they could pull off the near absence of lag we had when it goes live, it would upgrade the quality of the game in a big way.

After all we will finally have BTA mats for LoB & MA and prolly runes system.

BTC thing and loot randomness was preventing those raids from being reliable source of lvl 20 weapons/shields and ghost town.

Forgot to mention those retarded pre-raid areas w/o any options to skip directly to entrance.
