If you're really doing well then hook up Strake with something at the very least. Throw away prepaid CC works well for everyday purchases. I think you may be out of country based on your writing here and if so then giftcards or something innocuous and small.

Also if you ever get backlogged for longer than a day on orders it looks bad for business as that trips of alerts of backing up large numbers of prepaid orders and taking the money without delivering sold services. Hire some help. There isn't any reason not to.

 

Most if not all of our delays are outside of our control, additional staff would make little difference. As for Strake I have never hid my intentions if he wishes to be compensated on PayPal or via Bitcoin or Gift cards I’m sure we can make that happen.

Not sure what you guys are bitching about, the DDO Dupe Store kicks back the exact same percentage of profits that DDO does.

More seriously, accepting money from anyone changes the whole thing we've got going on here, and not in good ways.* The only money I would accept would be an outright purchase of the website, and the offer would have to be so generous that I simply could not justify turning it down. No one wants to pay that kind of money for this dumpster fire.


* - Anyone remember the stainer charity debacle? That was a lesson I learned the hard way, for sure.

Basically, stainer held a charity event. You post proof of a donation to a charity, you get rewards or chances at rewards. Silly things, like you get to change his title or username, or they get a title, you can ban him, or whatever. Well, he cracked out shortly after this and since I had sanctioned his thing, many felt it was incumbent on me to cover his debts.
