If the devs want to do something, then they are going to do it regardless of the player-bases opinion on the matter.  The best we can do is prepare, hunker down and ride out the shit storm to calmer waters.

It all comes down to that key difference: got to protest BEFORE they've become invested in a bad idea, then not call them on it when they backpedal.

I doubt SSG respects ANYONE very much, but they don't need to. It doesn't require them respecting fat jerry to notice "hey, the players seem pretty fucking upset about this shit" and come up with a less terrible plan.

TR hearts and tokens, don't forget that one, that one has stayed.   To recall they were going to all but remove the ability to get the heart you needed to TR in game, it was going to be something you bought in the store or with either comms or heart seeds, I don't remember it that well.

They were going to get rid of hearts NOT introduce seeds and force you to farm thousands of Comms per life to TR if you didn't buy the heart in the store.
