	I've done a cursory look. Some of the 2-piece sets that work with Sharn will be good. The thing that stood out to me was this: Quote: Tier 4 Overwhelming Shifting While under the effects of Razorclaw Shift, you gain +2 to Hit and Damage with Handwraps and a +1 Primal bonus to Critical Multiplier with Handwraps. This is in the Iconic tree. DPS Monks are getting a bump. Nice.

	The downside is that there is no wis and even a -2 wis pen in the tree. Still, for straight DPS Monk, this will be the race, I think. I'm sure there will be more creativity with this.

	I'm almost proud of their evil genius.. So evil, though. Whether it's lawful or chaotic, I'm not sure. I mean, SSG is definitely chaotic. But, that's almost like a law unto themselves. So, not sure what that means now.

I do think steel has a valid point that wraps are melee weapons, not "monk" weapons. I happen to like the DDO has no class-restricted weapons(besides the Mad Lute). The logic is of course that the Shifter Iconic will be a wraps-using barbarian, not "the new monk race". That being said of course they also made it the absolute best for pure monk.

	So I spent some time looking over the new loot from the standalone dungeon. On the one hand I'm excited because they're closing the gear desert with some ml27 BtA stuff... except its all crap and extremely druid-specific. What the fuck, SSG? Look, not all of us got in on LGS duping. Some of us actively need some ML 25/26 gear.

I wish the monk players would legit fuck off from the Razorclaw thread entirely. That being said; it's clearly set up to prevent monks from using it. Which is more than fair; you can't expect them to create a HANDWRAP focused iconic, and let monks double-dip when they've explicitly stated time and time again that this is designed for non monks.

I have to agree. The Iconic Razorclaw race and tree is clearly focused on Barbarians. I'm considering changing my monk into a Razorclaw Barb when it comes out. At least both his PRR and MRR will be significantly higher. I expect the DPS to be about the same. I'll miss the Jade Strike and EIN stuff, though.

They could've left it as an untyped though, that was why I liked it. Helped a little with laziness around weapon switching for DR.
