Anyone got a line on what new loot has been added? Am guessing just high-level versions of the existing crap.

I'll never understand the propensity of people to brag about being good at a video game. Its a toy you play with for fun. The only person who should be proud of you is your mother. If you're 3.

Some actual new stuff was added. It isn’t great but it is interesting. +1 Quality Evocation orb and +1 quality conjuration acid stick at ML 28

I browsed through the Wiki yesterday looking for where else Quality school DC was available and I have an update for my opinion. I previously thought "not great, but potentially interesting" and have changed that view to "nah - just trash"

I still like the anti-undead dagger.
I still like the Quarterstaff. It isn't great, but it's at least cool. Moonbeam is better.
Ratkiller is a Maul that exists, so it has that going for it.
Ornamental Dagger makes me angry because of how VERY much it sucks compared to when it was introduced.

I know that there is a construct bane hammer that is much worse then the sharn crafted hammer could be at the same level, there's a ghostbane falchion but the free RL weapons are much better so basically nothing

RL are better - at lvl 10.  What better falchion you got at 4 and 8?

To be fair it's also a Falchion that breaks DR/Bludgeoning for skeletons.... course you end up having to put a good aug in later but meh its better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.

It would have to break piercing DR to be the same as a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.

got tired of 3D Kobold Lights  long ago... unless a real overhaul the whole 3BC loot there's basically no point in goin' there if you were in the firsts 2 or 3 years of it. ( and so that it scales up to 30+ just because )

Do you spend more than a weekend between level 4 and 10?
Do you need a special weapon to beat up undead in low level heroics?
WOW

I usually just use a Muckbane or Muck's doom against skellies before RL weapons drop.

The level 4 stuff is very nice for that level if you are interested in bothering with twink gear for that range.

I WOULD be if they cut about 500k from third life heroic XP. I've done the math several times and that's pretty much it: 500,000 fewer XP points would get me to do heroic lives again. That and probably fixing the massive inventory headache...

I'll never understand the propensity of people to brag about being good at a video game. Its a toy you play with for fun. The only person who should be proud of you is your mother. If you're 3.

Nice try shitbird, they aren't going to remove 500k just to optimize otto's box uses. At best you might see 300-400k, that way Sovereign Pots are still required.

Ottos boxes aside 500k would be enough to make me grind out every single XP point. As it is the boxes are the only think making me TR again.

Turdbin thought process in a nutshell: nerfing an item due to its 'powers' whilst releasing same spot loot with twice its power... Shocked
