	Actually, from what I understand it was the Players Council that kept SSG from turning Shifters into the God-Mode version of Monk... and Steele & a few others were severely pissed by the negative reaction noamineo wrote on Jan 31^st, 2021 at 2:41pm: Why would that make any difference? 	Does anyone know if they frisk your account if you apply? Because I may have a couple of things that fell off a card cruncher, but I can tolerate putting on an act to get insider info (which would NEVER magically appear on vaultleaks)

	Yes, the application asks for your username, forum handle, and main character name. I applied using my #3 account and if they frisk it they'll find bupkis.

I wouldn't think so, nor would I think stuff from the card cruncher would matter at this point(do you think the devs even still remember it?).

	Futurama is not well known here... I know the name I know the basics of it, I even saw one or two episodes; but that's it. You probably have better chances with obscure Anime or Manga references. ( since France is the biggest market for both outside of Japan )

	Why does this myth of ssg needing to login to accounts exist. If they want to look at your account they just run some sql. I know database work isn't sexy but its the foundation of things like mmo's where you need to store all the player data on a server. Yeah SQL is complicated and I'd likely need my reference book to do it, but sit me down at a terminal that has access and I guarantee I could write the query to look at just about anything on your account.

I once got flagged down at a game developer convention and offered a DBA job because I was carrying my artist portfolio around in an Oracle backpack(if you know anything about SQL you'll get why this is funny). DBAs are in huge demand in the game industry. Yes, its not a sexy job, and a lot of game companies are a fucking nightmare to work at. Imagine having to not just listen to, but talk to jerry all day long, and be about as well respected. The jobs don't pay as well, and the designers walk around like fuckin premadonas. Meanwhile, any halfway decent DBA can take that same skillset, earn twice the money, and be viewed as a GOD at pretty much any other company(I'm hard pressed to name a business with over 100 employees that doesn't need a DBA). Would you work for SSG if you had that choice? I am exaggerating, I'm positive someone at SSG knows SQL(you can damn near learn it in an afternoon) but that's also not going to be the guy who's tapped to screen inventories. Think about it: you can either pay your $90 an hour DBA, who has a hundred more important things to do and won't stop muttering "fuck 'em all" under his breath, or you can pay a $5 an hour jackoff to log into accounts and check manually.
