Oh what I would give to have been a fly on the wall during that team meeting where Bobby Severlin and his team were brain-storming up new buzzwords to use as excuses for the lag, and bugs they will never even try to fix and they came up with "Halo".

Any post and stream watcher of the a$$-covering brigade at SSG will notice the debut of "halo-effect" over the last few months as the catch-all term for any problem they don't or won't fix. What is even more impressive is how it has morphed in the hands of our Wily developers even more recently as an excuse not to make a change suggested by testers and PC.

It's deja vu to the golden era of Severlin using "overperforming" as his defacto excuse for everything and anything. You know, they may not know how to design, modify power curves, or even how to implement framework integrity with any kind of consistency, but their ever-evolving attempts at verbal gymnastics to excuse it all are as dependable as a sunrise. You have to wonder if Sev and Cordy hand out 3X5 cards with this quarter's buzzwords for SSG guys to use while speaking with the public.
