The incestuous nature of DDO bloggers

Strimtom recently posted his review of the Bow Pass on his channels.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ea_o5ESWQB0

Two years ago Strimtom was invited to join the Players' Council and the quality of reviews and commentary began to diminish into the yes man bullshit it is today.  I used to find find his comments and builds useful.   Not anymore he has become such a yes man it hurts, because he thinks it preserves his access to the developers.   His bow pass discussion clearly indicates how far he has gotten into bed with the development team.  It is disgusting.

If you look at his numbers and the content that he is running it appears that he is running a high level character on Epic Casual.   Oh boy he killed that troll in VON 3 with 335 point Crit.   I think we are all thoroughly impressed.

I am not sure what is more of a f'ing joke at the moment.    His commentary or the fact the development team is going to listen to it.

What a coup for them. The man who made the silver long bow the go to item for new players with his acid arcane archer build is now advocating for its change.
All they need now is for Tilo to talk about how wonderful his electric critzilla is with the rune arm boosts...

Who gives a fuck what they do, let's be realistic. Why the fuck would anyone stream this game? Whos got time to watch this shit. No offence to streamers,  however you all really need to reconsider your existence and worth in this world. In other words...get a fucken life, and a real job.

I don't fucking get it,  but some very few streamers make serious cash at it.  I don't get it,  but more power to them.

So... We should be more respectful to him?

Strimtom builds are fine for new players, but hopefully they outgrow them fast.

Do not try the patience of wizards, for they are subtle and quick to anger.

We are dreamers, shapers, singers, and makers. We study the mysteries of laser and circuit, crystal and scanner, holographic demons and invocation of equations. These are the tools we employ, and we know many things.

The absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.

OP said he was on epic casual. If you could, please tell me how to run von3 on epic casual at level 11. The optional xp in there would be great.

He went 1-18 on heroic elite then jumped to 30 and then ran a few epic feywild quests between r1-5. I don't watch his livestreams much, but I have never seen him run anything on casual. I will agree that he says yes too much, however.

I actually think his videos are fairly informative for the target audience. A lot of them are part of his new character series. IE new character on a new server with no inherited gear. He is fairly honest and explains when some builds struggle and if he has to drop down to elite, or skip quests.
