I read that thread and he deserved to get banned for violating the forums rules over and over again. Even if we cannot understand the code they deal with sometimes a simple suggestion or idea eludes them and sparks that creative troubleshooting. try to be that spark. outside of that your missing your goal and well a dev wont read more then a sentence and close it if its not in that direction. offer them suggestions to help explain why or how u think it could be, try not to explain your reaction to it as it has no bearing on getting your ideas across. the thread also got derailed by general chat about how a darn bow works in real life..which threw the topic into a tailspin of off topic stories. *That right there is some next level passive-aggressive trolling, It's like watching someone be ass-raped with a candy-cane... 	As far as I know.. you don't get banned in-game for forum posts... you just get banned from the forums. From what I understand, he was being a cock-bite in forums under the "I'm taking you to school" approach, it was not received well, belligerency grew... he got smacked... enter drama queen "I'm leaving and taking my ball with me" exit. Does ANYONE ever actually feel "Oh NOEZ!" when someone announces they are leaving?

I think that's because I don't know them or ever played with them. I think I'd probably care if someone in my guild who I knew and ran with for quite awhile quit. He and his group had already threatened to leave because game performance has been nothing but a steady stream of diarrhetic shit for months now. I have zero issues with them making this public because SSG certainly deserves the criticism, and the fact that an increasing amount of paying customers are stopping by to say “fuck you” on their way out the door says more about the drooling idiots running this game into the ground than it does the players being accused being drama queens.

That's street cred in da hood. Back in my days, I played 1st edition and helped cowrite the rules! Of course I like my own rule set so I just change it to how I like to play. People don't get D&D isn't ddo. It just isn't. It's roughly based on some 3rd edition stuff, plus random stuff the devs like from the optional books. Plus just random stuff

DDO is so far from PnP nowadays ( whichever edition ) that there's no point mentioning PnP (A)D&D. Hell, it's probably nearer to Rolemaster or GURPS than to (A)D&D with all the percentile based stuff they introduced. ( and that's not a comparison, just a statement... I'm not going to compare )
