	Reading through the the U51 release notes: Quote: We are retiring Magister and replacing it with Magus of the Eclipse, a brand new Epic Destiny that focuses on Negative, Cold, and Necromancy spells, as well as weaving potent anti-magical defenses. Magister includes the extremely helpful "[Spell School] Familiarity". Twisted in was the only thing keeping fire nuker barrable since the increased cooldown of meteor swarm. There's a lot more in there but the entire patch notes can basically be summed up as "Fuck spellcasters, those guys suck."

	I'll never understand the propensity of people to brag about being good at a video game. Its a toy you play with for fun. The only person who should be proud of you is your mother. If you're 3.

	Reading back, no way you really think that was the issue. The nasty triple dip on spellpower, crit chance and crit damage is so much compared to this. You can grab 4 dragon filgs, lose 2 DC and you get your cooldowns back. With new mob saves this is a non-issue. Nukers being unable to nuke is the issue. The nuker to wolf damage ratio passed the red line at 1/2 months ago, and kept going down from there.

Everything is worse over all and those dips were definitely a bigger fuck-you. But I would have been ok with just... playing at a lower difficulty if the numbers got fucked. Actually fucking over my ability to enjoy the character? That stings.

	You say if they just reduced DCs or damage you'd play a lower difficulty, but the longer cooldowns annoy you. Why not replace the standard +2 DC filgs with a Dragon set, winning back the cooldowns and losing the DCs to play a lower difficulty?

Well my logic is that the game should be fun, first, and everything else second. "Fun" for me is watching that meteor swarm arc. Obviously there's a bit more to it, but when I got my first fire nuker going(pre nerfs) I knew I had found my calling in DDO. Point is I care less about what's going on "under the hood" of the game than what I'm seeing and doing on my screen in front of me. I suspect that's why I play so many stupid flavor builds. I literally created a palemaster just because I saw one glide past in wraith form and went "I want that on my screen."
