Same amount of XP any way you slice it, but it lets you space out the leveling and play the parts of the game you enjoy.

	I'll never understand the propensity of people to brag about being good at a video game. Its a toy you play with for fun. The only person who should be proud of you is your mother. If you're 3.

Why many cultures in the past had such strict and delineated rules for the mourning period. Saw it myself from the sidelines when a coworker lost their spouse very suddenly of cancer, was insane. The kind of thing the guys writing the Torah, Bible, etc... saw and knew needed to be sorted out before every starting killing, dying, etc... Kind of like Chris Rock's take on the pork chop and religion.

Yes the problem is incoming players don't want to have to spend years of repetitive grinding just to get above "fine". So just as a point of comparison consider World of Warcraft: it has no TR system so once you hit cap its all about improving your gear. The means that by the simple act of leveling to cap, a brand new player is only a short distance behind a launch-day veteran and can catch up in a reasonable timeframe with enough effort. Contrast with DDO. Now, granted, its not a very fair comparison because DDO is a much better game and TRing is the "true" endgame for some people. Its only once you've played every class to cap that you even start to get a feel for the deep interactions. The solution I think is to make leveling faster the longer you've played, instead of slower(EG reduce XP required after TR instead of increasing it).
