Then you don't need to be an Elf for AA (and don't need a bunch of racial AP to unlock AA efficiently) Pretty much every ranged build wants to be in Shiradi now, so you can pick up Sniper Shot for a +crit multi active attack with a low cooldown to pair with Hunt's End. This build might want...whatever ED gives the most DC points now though.

What race? /shrug I would probably lean toward human for the feat and damage boost. But I could see people going Aasimar for the Wis or Halfling for the angle of attack.

If you don't want to go deep in Falconry, you can be FvS instead. FvS gets wis to hit and dmg for free and a big dumb HP boost. Not having Killer Instinct for insightful damage means conceding on DPS though. And not having a cleric domain means conceding on DCs. So I wouldn't go that route. But it would be playable or whatever.

My TWF back in the day wasn't terribly strong in ranged but if I needed to switch to bow and kite a mob or kill something from far away, he could do it(unlike, say, my sorc with a throwing axe).

Do you really gain any advantages from pure ranger, though? The useful feats stop at 11. I guess Dervish seems pretty good, except the wiki says its broken for bladeforged and I'm planning a BF twf. Was thinking of going like 11/9 or 12/8 ranger/fighter.

I’d transfer the stuff over and delete the toon…or use it as a storage toon.

Of all my racials - which were all done as pure, str-based tempest - warforged was by far the ugliest, even though it was 2nd to last, and with 13 racial AP to spend in the tree.

That was mainly due to being reliant on heals from others during higher reapers.  Self healing just will not cover it.

That said, if you’re never running higher than R1, your self healing should suffice.

Still wouldn’t want to do a bladeforged ranger though.

I get that you're looking for something to do with a bladeforged, but you have all kinds of options there. You don't need to pound that square bladeforged peg into a round tempest hole. So just don't.

Wanna do bladeforged tempest? Lose the paladin, Main fighter, abuse reconstruct.

You're a fighter with a weird split and race, but it works.

UPDATE: I've been running with a guy who has a pure cleric enchantment bow build. We ran Saltmarsh r10 last night. The PK proc from terror arrows didn't work really. Doesn't proc enough--at least not in a group. What worked well was paralyze arrows. This cleric was a CC beast. It was working really well on r10. Plus he adds some damage. Nice overall.
