I tried loading DDO into a RAM drive. Took about 5 minutes. Here's the software:

You need about 15gb for the game place however much RAM you think you'll need for being RAM. I have 32gb on the system because I'm lazy, but that turned out to be plenty for both.

It cuts loading times about in half over an M2 drive. So if you wanna try it, give it a whirl. No need to re-install DDO, just copy the game file over.
  
I'll never understand the propensity of people to brag about being good at a video game. Its a toy you play with for fun. The only person who should be proud of you is your mother. If you're 3.
