Cordo finally shut down

It seems SSG has Dumbo working more on the LOTRO side and
the new forums and his video work has been deemed unimportant.

Wasn't DDO making more money than LOTRO?

I guess they're expecting Amazon's new LOTR series to bring in new players.

I'll never understand the propensity of people to brag about being good at a video game. Its a toy you play with for fun. The only person who should be proud of you is your mother. If you're 3.

LOTRO was making more but DDO players on average paid more to play.
Just happy to see that dumb fuck removed from video duty.

Seems like getting and keeping more players would be a priority, then.

Probably not.  The ones that are still paying really aren't going anywhere.

People walk every day over long-standing issues. At least once a week a whale lights up the motherboard with an "i'm quitting over X" post. If even half of these are true then their revenue is declining.

Main loss of Wales is probably old age.

No actually its mostly the broken drop rates. Lag plays some role, but at least half the "fuck this shit I'm quitting" speeches I see on the motherboards have something to do with that. The complete lack of decent non-raid gear between 21 and 29 isn't helping, either. Just generally the long-standing, easy to fix problems SSG loves to ignore.

The main loss of Wales recently is the lack of tourists.

Was there ever even anything to see in Wales?

beside Portmeirion, Llandudno Pier, Conwy Castle, Cardiff Castle and that railway station with an impronouncable long name?
not much unless you're a nature lover thatloves to hike up and down mountains, a paleontologist or a rockhound.

I have an ancestral home in Wales. Quite large, in fact.

I've never been there, but I'd like to see it someday.

It would be a combination of issues, myself and the whales I know don't play because the game has become boring, simple. Second, with all the boxes that came out, how many toons do we really need with all past lives and over 140 reaper points.
There is no character progression beyond 156 reaper points.

Not certainly a whale, but I am playing Lost Ark nowadays. Game has its own flaws, I am having fun it though.
