u55 DC Cleric Gear Set-up (Read 3943 times)

	Hey ya'll, am looking for feedback on this gear set-up. I don't have spell pen lives on this toon but I have all the Epic PLs. No quality spell focus in my current set up. I like the Winter belt a lot so the Black Satin is out. I suppose I could work in Spinneret if I got a +1 reaper DC bonus on the piggie. My goggles are basically just giving 1 DC but I don't see a better use for the slot. Another thing I wish I wasn't missing is Insightful Devotion. I suppose I could use goggles for that as a swap, or make a trinket with it. There's probably some world where I take off the Slavelords slot and run Sunstones. I suppose that would be the fix to get the quality 2 DC in, but perma-slotting spell absorb is just nice QOL. Not sure how to keep the 4 piece winter set though if Black Satin comes on. (I guess a crappy ring?). I suppose swapping artifact to ring and then putting on winter bracers would give a slightly higher vitality value. If I wanted to support light damage it seems like dropping down to 2 piece Winter is the right move---put on a Crest of St. Markus. This would also solve the devotion issue, although Sunstone gloves still give 16 Insightful PRR. 4 Piece Winter for Artifact PRR and 10% HP, because I don't wanna get one shot by dooms on r10 Helmet, Fire Shield Cold Boots, Ins Con, Quality Con, Fort save Belt, Insightful PRR, bit of AC Trinket / Cloak. Swap between for spell absorb. 3 Piece Hruit for Wisdom, DCs and Crit Chance Gloves, THTH spell absorb, MRR, pinch of Quality Potency Necklace, Fire power and crit, 10% efficiency Armour, HAMP, fort, PRR MISC Gear Dread Caster Staff, Exceptional Crit, Exceptional DCs, Exceptional wisdom, and Affirmation Goggles, PN Spell Focus, Insightful Spell Focus Ring1, Onyx, Profane Spell Focus, Ins Wis, Profane +2 stats Ring2, Slavelords, devotion critical, Wisdom, Quality Wisdom Bracers, Dread Artifact, Sacred +2 DCs, and Positive or Fire Crit damage Augments Pomura's for 5% Crit GH DC +2 DC bonuses on Conjuration, Evocation, Necromancy, and Enchantment Unconscious Range Aug from Dread Festive Wisdom, Festive Con

AP-wise I have 41 in Radiant Servant, 6 in Vistani (deflect arrows), 23 in Warpriest (10% HP bonus), 6 in falconry (sprint boost). I'm sure I could squeeze out some more DCs there but the toon is mostly for holding other people's nutsacks. If I want to compete for kills I'll go hop on my sorc. If the group needs dps I bring sorc. If the group needs heals and some CC I'll bring this.

I do have all PLs and sent slots. So that’s part of it. I was still missing litany Aug and +2 stat helm. But, I think you should be over 110 for sure. Which domain did you use?

	Cleric DCs: Between capstone and enh in DD and death domain, cleric gets +7 necro or evo. Compare Druid: +3 evo Compare Fvs: +6 evo, +5 necro. However, FVS has the -2 save aura. So, up close, you get effectively +1 evo over cleric and equal necro. This, imo, applies mainly to implosion. Fvs basically get +1 on implosion.

	To be objective about it, I do think FvS is probably a little better for R10 dailies, but in a raid situation you want True Resurrection. FvS is a better healer and a better nuker than cleric but not at the same time---FvS has to specialize a bit more. Cleric is flexible so eventually I'll probably settle into a FvS setup I like but ATM I love the spell slots. Energy drain is underrated as a dps spell.

	Ok.. I'm looking at DC gear because of this, and I found out that I don't have a L. Black Satin... Now, I have to farm one, and I hate that quest. I blame WFB. Just so you know. Let's see how many runs it takes.. My quick search showed me that there are only about 3 NON-ARTIFACT slots you can use for +2 quality DC. Ring, Belt, and Orb. I have the ring. I doubt I'll use an orb. But that belt is a good item to have. EDIT: j/k. I thought it was in Smash and Burn. Magma isn't bad. EDIT2: 1st run. Second reroll.
