Night Revels Actually Useful for a Change

They added a mount to the night revels turn in this year(or last? I didn't even play last time). And since all ingredients are unbound, for the low investment of maybe 400 shards and an hour of farming, I picked up enough mats to buy 5 horses. That went to me stable of alts, all of whom can now get around much quicker.

This has me seriously considering spinning up 6 more alts so I can lead a full raid group. Getting 6 more greater tokens and 6x more rewards from Zawabis might be worth the low low price.

I've got a solo guild and finally got off my ass and got the revels mounts for all 5 small guild bard bot accounts. Much better than the bullshit borderlands farm for sure.

Every year I run night revels. For the XP. 6 stars is juicy asf and nets about 2mil XP for 10 easy quests in epics. Or even 500k on heroics.

I've not personally been in a position before where I needed XP while the night revels was up, but I'll put that in my back pocket for later.

A question about this - this year I think I ran them when I was about level 15/16 and I was running the challenges on about chalenge level 24/25.

Is the XP the same whether I run them in heroics at 24/25, or do I get more for doing them if I was in epic levels instead?

From the Mabar wiki;
"Base quest experience is tied to the level of the quest. The base xp is 100* level for levels 7-19. Hence doing the quests at level 19 yields 1900 base xp for the quest. Base quest experience for levels 20-29 is 240*level. "

If you are earning heroic xp it is about 25% of epic xp no matter what level you run. But rule of thumb for heroics is do around 10 levels higher than your current level for best xp for time and effort involved. Although in epics just do highest CR because it’s easy  even at lvl 20. Oh and solo or bring people within a few levels of yourself, if you must, bc power level penalty is just flat out retarded in challenges and I don’t even think the devs understand it.
