Thirteen Bastard Sword (Read 3425 times)

	So I ran the hidden hand chain and pulled a Thirteen from the end chest. This thing is metalline, aligned, and has 7 augment slots. Its a trap, isn't it? I'm trying to think up a build to use it, and it just feels like a less than optimal solution.

Its also bound-to-character, making it even less optimal. It is a cool cosmetic though.

	Maybe a thrower build could use it. If all the effects affect the projectile of course.

I think it would just depend on the augments and such you put into it. I found this pic on the DDO Forums: Looks pretty solid to me. I'm guessing it would go well with a SWF or S&B build.

I tested that a LONG time ago on some three-slotted longsword or shortsword (maybe it was handwraps?) and I didn't notice a difference in the # of negative levels bestowed between slotting one of those augments and slotting three in all three slots. But if it did work, that would be a solid suggestion. Of course, in high reaper content, those neg levels disappear pretty quickly.

The ones in that sword in the pic are all single essences and not part of a set. Hmmm...interesting. I just noticed all the augments in the sword are the same color as their respective augment slots.
