Some sort of hit a button and queue for procedural dungeons game. It looks to be more of an instant WoW dungeon simulator than a DDO adventure simulator, but I'm all for stripping away the chaff and having the fun part laid bare.

I'm also all for options that aren't our favorite imbeciles.

Procedural dungeons I can get onboard with, but procedural loot is kinda dull.
  
I'll never understand the propensity of people to brag about being good at a video game. Its a toy you play with for fun. The only person who should be proud of you is your mother. If you're 3.

So was the game. I got in on an alpha, and it's just... 100% yet another game that thinks World of Warcraft is worth aping.

I was hoping it wouldn't be that blatant, but there it is.

Well that sucks.

I have a sneaking suspicion we're never going to the like of the great MMOs of old ever again. Everything will be either a WoW clone or an "esports"  shitfest.

Maybe time to fire up my emulator and play Asheron's Call by myself for the next 20 years.
