The event item might be the best choice seeing as there is no other way to get it.

Yeah its not good. But everything else is either wildly outdated and sucky or comes from a current often-run raid.

The bow is made of meh but there's no other way to get it. Still not sure I want it.

I might gab the xbow from the vecna raid since I didn't buy that pack. But I'm also not sure its any good. Seems like everything else is relatively easy to maintain, dropping from current, oft-run raids.

The Bow is meh but easily could have been novel in use if it was poison DR like a flameblade. Kind of odd that its not given the flavor text and other feytwisted items.

I'm gonna grab the bow for one of my alt accounts on the off chance I ever find a way to transfer it. Otherwise I think I'll get the xbow for my main.

As for favorite build, I once made a monk AA with 6 levels of artificer so I could have endless fusillade as a swapout for the hell of it. Level 25 days, before the trees. Did Epic Elite just fine; there was more ability to be a dumbass at the top echelons back then.

The dev team had promised to release a private server to the community for years. None ever came.

Yes. Back then build was all about "what sort of crazy shit do you feel like focusing on?". I had some kind of build - I think it was 5 wizard/3 fighter/12 artificer? I honestly don't recall - but basically you were a lighting artificer. You used Blast Rod, Lightning Motes, and Lightning Sphere to facerole through EE dungeons and then fell back on your bow when it came time to DPS bosses. I don't think I ever enjoyed any build quite as much.
